COVID-19...a virus that has overtaken the world. Most scientists aren't going to be figuring out why the virus exists today, but rather what's in the vaccine. Several scientific articles explain what is in the Covid-19 vaccine, how it's safe, and why people should get it-- the vaccine of course, not Covid-19.

An article published by the CDC stated that the vaccine is in fact “safe and effective”. And it's supported by the fact that was given to more than “547 million people from December 14 2020 to February 14 2022”, all according to the CDC statistics. According to the article the vaccine “met the FDA’s scientific standards for safety, effectiveness, and manufacturing quality” which means it's FDA approved. “All of the vaccines will continue to undergo the most intensive safety monitoring in US history”, stated by the CDC. Even some teenagers have an opinion. For example, middle schooler Lorenzo Reed, was asked how he felt about the vaccine. He replied, “I think it's someway to stay healthy and stay away from covid. Also people who don't get it are kinda stupid.”

Many people have the question of "what exactly is in the vaccine?" Well, an article published by the FDA says “The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine contains messenger RNA (mRNA) which is genetic material. The vaccine contains a synthetic piece of mRNA that instructs cells in the body to make the distinctive "spike" protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.” Meaning, the mRNA makes cells make the spike protein in the SARS-CoV-2 virus. That explains what's in the Pfizer vaccine, but as for others like Moderna, people may still have questions. The Moderna is authorized for use under an EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) for adults 18 and older. As for what's in it, the ingredients are similar to the Pfizer.

Summing up, there's a lot of credible information about what's in the Covid-19 vaccines, why they are safe, and why people should definitely get it. The sources used here were all from the CDC and the FDA, and they're both purely factual.
